The cast and crew of “The Hunger Games” are currently in the middle of doing publicity for the film, and the latest piece of publicity to come out is from Australian magazine Film Ink Magazine. The magazine has interviews with the director of the film, Gary Ross, as well as Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson.

Ross told the magazine that the writer of the original book “The Hunger Games,” Suzanne Collins, knew how to make her scenes work visually. “Suzanne had been a television writer, so she understood how some things worked better cinematically,” he said. “While we were shooting, I added two scenes invoving Donald Sutherland’s President Snow that weren’t in the book, and she loved those scenes. THere was a par of her that I actually think was more turned on by the additions and the changes because they were fresh and exciting for her. It was a really great collaboration. There was nothing difficult in it…”

What do you think about Ross’ statements? Does this make you even more excited to see the film (is that even possible at this point, seeing how hyped up the film already is)? Give your opinions in the comments section below.
