Chris Rock will join the list of presenters at the 84th Academy Awards, the ceremony’s telecast producers, Brian Grazer and Don Mischer, have confirmed. The Grammy-winning comedian previously hosted the 77th Oscar ceremony in 2005.
Rock, who can next be seen in ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting’ and ‘2 Days in New York,’ joins such previously announced presenters as Halle Berry, Bradley Cooper, Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Tom Hanks, Angelina Jolie, Milla Jovovich, Jennifer Lopez, Emma Stone and the cast of ‘Bridesmaids.’ The 84th Academy Awards, which will honor film achievements from 2011, will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2012 from the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center. It will air on ABC at 8:30 pm EST/5:30 pm PST, and will be televised live in more than 225 countries worldwide.
