Elizabeth Banks recently told MTV that several scenes of “The Hunger Games” will be “emotional” for the audience.

She said that one of the scenes she’s excited about is the arena scene. “I have not seen much of the arena, so I’m excited to see the actual Games,” she said. “It’s become very emotional. We really become very attached to the characters, even Cato and Thresh, kind of the bad guys of the book. We really are attached to everybody’s journey, and so I’m really excited to see how that all plays out.”

She also said that scene that was the most fulfilling and most difficult to shoot was the Reaping.

“The Reaping was amazing,” she said. “We get to see a heroine step forward and show herself for the first time and come to life, and it was a really remarkable scene to shoot.”

“The Hunger Games,” based on the book series by Suzanne Collins, also stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Donald Sutherland, Woody Harrelson and Lenny Kravitz. The film will be released to theaters March 23.
