This year’s Best Actress Oscar frontrunner, Meryl Streep, has been added as a presenter at the 84th Academy Awards ceremony, the telecast’s producers, Brian grazer and Don Mcher, have confirmed. The actress, who has won two Oscars, joins such previously announced presenters as Academy Award winners Halle Berry, Penelope Cruz, Michael Douglas, Tom Hanks and Angelina Jolie. Other presenters include Bradley Cooper, Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Zach Galifianakis, Milla Jovovich, Jennifer Lopez, Emma Stone and the cast of ‘Bridesmaids.’
The 84th Academy Awards, which honor film achievements of 2011, will be televised live on February 26, 2012 at 8:30 pm EST/5:30 pm PST on ABC. It will be broadcast from the Kodak Theater at the Hollywood & Highland Center, and will be televised in more than 225 countries worldwide.
