Adam Sandler received a record breaking 11 nominations for the 32nd Golden Raspberry Awards (Razzies), Collider is reporting. The nominations were announced on February 25, 2012, the day before the 84th Academy Awards. The actor’s 2011 comedy ‘Jack and Jill’ received 12 nominations, while his other comedy from the year, ‘Just Go With It,’ received five nods, despite the fact that both films were financially successful.

The 32nd Razzie ceremony broke from the award’s tradition of announcing both the nominees and winners before the Oscors. In January 2012, the parody ceremony decided to delay the ceremony, and hold it on April Fool’s Day.

Other big contenders include ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ and ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 1,’ which both had eight nominations. ‘Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star’ followed with six nods, and ‘New Year’s Eve’ also received five nominations. ‘Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son’ was awarded three nods, while ‘Arthur’ and ‘The Hangover Part II’ both received two nominations.

Nicolas Cage also had multiple nominations for the 32nd Razzies. Each of his 2011 films, including ‘Season of the Witch,’ ‘Drive Angry’ and ‘Trespass,’ all received two nods.
