As we get closer to the day of the premiere of “The Hunger Games,” everyone is trying to bone up on their “Hunger Games” knowledge, and Glamour Magazine is providing its readers with six secrets to know about the movie before you go see it at your local movie theater.

Some of the secrets might be things you had read before, like the fact that Jennifer Lawrence beat out a lot of young Hollywood starlets for the coveted role of Katniss Everdeen or that there’s a love triangle similar to the one that makes up the “Twilight” book and movie series, but I bet you didn’t know that Lawrence learned how to shoot arrows!

According to the site, Lawrence trained with Olympic archer Khatuna Lorig in order to shoot like Katniss. Also, you might already know that Suzanne Collins originally wrote for television, but if you’re a kid from the ’90s, you might not have realized that she wrote for many ’90s kid cult classics like Nickelodeon’s “Clarissa Explains It All.” Cool, right?

You can check out the rest of the secrets at Glamour.com.
