“The Dark Knight Rises” actor Tom Hardy is aiming to put an end to homelessness. His goal of driving across Siberia plans on doing just that.

According to Mother Nature Network, Hardy announced the plans for his trip on JustGiving.com. The trip will support FLACK, a charity from the United Kingdom that aims to stop poverty and homelessness and also prints a magazine written by the homeless.

“I’ve been supporting FLACK since it first started and now I’m about to set off to drive across Siberia to raise money for three charities I care about including, of course, FLACK,” he wrote on his JustGiving fundraising page.

Hardy is very committed to this organization–according the site, a 2011 fundraiser spearheaded through Hardy’s efforts raised $72,000 in order to save the charity from closing.

If you are in the UK and want to give money to Hardy’s cause, click here to get to his fundraising page. I’m not sure if the site allows for US dollars to be converted to pounds, so US readers might ant to keep that mind. However, if you want to spread the word, by all means, do.
