I know it’s early to have a “Movie Review Round-Up” for “The Hunger Games” (it doesn’t come out until this Friday), but there’s already a flurry of reviews and opinions, and mostly all of them are positive! In fact, they’re better than positive–they’re glowing, raving reviews of just how much “The Hunger Games” has met and surpassed the hype.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, the critics have given the film a stunning 100%! Granted, it could go down once the film premieres and other reviewers give their opinions, but still, it’ll have an A rating even it it does go down a few points. Audiences have given the film a 98% “want to see” rating. Let’s see what the critics had to say individually:

“What viewers are left with is a watachable enough picture that feels content to realize someone else’s vision rather than claim it as its own.”–Justin Chang, Variety

“[Gary] Ross has made a timely, thematically provocative, emotionally engaging tale–as of today, 2012’s most intriguing American film.”–Emanuel Levy, EmanuelLevy.com

“A thrilling, intelligent deeply-felt movie that does not play by the typical rules of franchise building in modern Hollywood.”–Drew McWeeny, HitFix

“There have been a number of big-gun literary series brought to screen ovre the past decade. This slays them all.”–Olly Richards, Empire Magazine

“Rarely does a blockbuster live up to its overheated hype, but ‘The Hunger Games’ proved to be an exception.”–Kate Muir, Times

Hooray for the success of “The Hunger Games”!
