To quote Professor Farnsworth, “Good news, everyone!” According to JoBlo, the rough cut of “The Dark Knight Rises” has been praised by the Warner Bros. execs.

According to the site, “The Dark Knight Rises” screening ended with a rousing standing ovation. That’s certainly encouraging, isn’t it? If there was a standing O for the rough cut, which hasn’t even been completely edited yet, just think how amazing the final cut is going to be! I really can’t wait now.

Also circling around is the rumor that a screening of the film will happen at the San Diego Comic Con. According to JoBlo, he event will be a week before the film’s official release date of July 20, but the screening itself has not been confirmed, so for now, this is just a rumor.
