It’s interesting–I’m a huge fan of “The Dark Knight Rises” and I can’t wait to see the film, but I’ve never once started speculating about who could die, even though it’s a big possibility a major player could die in the film.
Personally, I don’t know who could die in the film, and if anyone does, it’ll be someone we would never expect. In some franchises, you can tell immediately who’s going to die, but with this particular franchise, everyone is important–no character is a filler character. Also, everything with this franchise is along the unexpected path. Remember “The Dark Knight,” which had Rachel dying and the Joker alive at the end? It’s only presumed that he dies at the end of the film–we don’t really know what happens to him, and that’s not including the real-life tragedy of Heath Ledger. So, like I said, if anyone will die in “Rises,” we won’t know until it happens.
