When I first watched this walkthrough video of “Super Mario World,” I, being the gullible person that I am, thought the voice-over was actually done by Christopher Walken. Since the crew behind Funny or Die get celebrities to star in their videos, I thought perhaps the folks behind this video, GameSocietyFilms, had done the same. However, it’s not Walken–this fantastic impression of Walken was done by Jason Stephens–but Stephens’ impression is a dead ringer for the popular “Pulp Fiction” actor.

Surely, if you’re a vintage video game fan, you’ll get a kick out of this video, but even if you’re a novice like me, you’ll find it entertaining. I mean, how is the idea of Christopher Walken talking about Mario not entertaining?

Make sure to check out the video at YouTube or right below this post. You can also check out more ChristopherWalkenthroughs at the GameSocietyFilms YouTube channel. Also make sure to “like” their Facebook page. You can also learn more about GameSocietyFilms by going to their official website.

What do you think about the walkthrough video? When you first heard Stephens’ impression, were you thrown for a loop at first like I was? Give your opinions in the comments section below.
