Remember the story ShockYa reported last month about Allan Dixon, the Dublin web developer and skateboard enthusiast who was so intent on meeting his idol, billionaire Alki David that he shot a video about it? Well, it looks like he’s going to finally get his chance.

To recap, Dixon, who works for NewsWhip.com made a video about why he wanted to work for David. Dixon also entered a blow up doll into “The Internet’s Next Hot Model” competition, spearheaded by Alki David’s wife, swimsuit designer Jennifer Stano. According to SiliconRepublic, Dixon sent the blow-up doll through FedEx to David. David did confirm that he received the doll, which is shown in the second part of Dixon’s video. Surprisingly, he said that this is actually not his first time receiving a blow-up doll through the mail.

Dixon’s stunt worked, and now, according to Dixon’s Twitter response to Silicon Republic, Dixon is “flying off to LA to meetup with him [David] now. [S]hould be an interesting meetup.”
