It has been announced that actors Armie Hammer, Ben Kingsley, and John Malkovich will all appear in the indie crime drama entitled ‘Cut Bank’. With a script from writer Robert Patino, Matt Shakman (famous for his work on ‘Mad Men’ and ‘Six Feet Under’) will be making his official debut at the helm.

Making the announcement on April 24th, Entertainment One shared the news. “We at eOne Films International are proud and delighted to be representing ‘Cut Bank’. It’s rare to find a project that is such a compelling read with top notch cast and an exciting new director attached.” Meanwhile, Shakman has also spoken out calling the movie “a clever morality tale, a visceral thriller and ultimately a surprising story of redemption. John Ford by way of David Fincher. [It] offers a director’s dream: a great visual world and a brilliant collection of characters to populate it.” Production is set to kick off this fall with the movie set to make its premiere at Cannes.
