Several new high-profile actors, including Jason Segel, Emma Watson Michael Cera, David Krumholtz and Rihanna, have been in talks to join the new cameo roles the upcoming film ‘The End of the World,’ the directorial debut of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, Slashfilm is reporting. The news comes after James Franco, Danny McBride, Aziz Ansari, Jonah Hill and Craig Robinson have all been confirmed for cameo roles in the action comedy.

While Segel and Drumholtz have already officially signed on to appear in ‘The End of the World,’ Cera and Watson are still in talks. Rihanna is also reportedly still in the beginning stages of casting, but they are all likely to be part of the movie.

‘The End of the World’ will take place in Franco’s apartment. The film will focus on Krumholtz and Rogen as they deal with the apocalypse occurring outside. Most of the actors slated to appear aren’t expected to survive the film.

Rogen and Goldberg’s Sony Projects film, formerly known as ‘The Apocalypse,’ is inspired by a short, ‘Jay and Seth vs. the Apocalypse.’ The short featured Rogen and Jay Baruchel, as they played themselves and hid in an apartment during an apocalypse.
