Several actors from the upcoming romantic comedy drama ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting,’ including Cameron Diaz, Chris Rock, Elizabeth Banks, Brooklyn Decker, Chace Crawford and Rodrigo Santoro, all attended a screening of the film on Tuesday night in New York. The movie, which was inspired by the book of the same name by Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Mazel, follows five couples whose intertwined lives are turned upside down by the challenges of impending parenthood.

‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting,’ which opens in theaters on May 18, follows TV fitness guru Jules, played by Diaz, and dance show star Evan, portrayed by Matthew Morrison, discover pregnancy hinders their celebrity lifestyles. Author and advocate Wendy, played by Banks, gets a taste of her own militant mothering advice when pregnancy hormones take over her body.

Wendy’s husband, Gary, portrayed by Ben Falcone, tries not to be outdone by his father, Ramsey, played by Dennis Quaid. Ramsey’s expecting twins with his younger wife, Sklyer, portrayed by Decker. Meanwhile, photographer Holly, played by Lopez, is prepared to adopt a child, but her husband, Alex, portrayed by Santoro, isn’t as sure. The unexpected hook-up between rival food truck chefs, Rosie and Marco, played by Anna Kendrick and Crawford, results in pregnancy.
