I’ve been an off-and-on watcher of “Khloe and Lamar,” but I’ve never really been big on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” However, many people are avid fans due to the amount of drama and family togetherness there is on the show. If you’re amped for the newest season of “Kardashians,” this first episode doesn’t disappoint. However, if you’re a fan who’s about to be over the dramatics, this episode might put you over the edge.

Episode 701 starts out with Kris Jenner’s big worry about the tabloids running amok with Khloe Kardashian paternity rumors. The tabloids are going crazy with trying to figure out who Khloe’s dad could be due to Kris writing about an affair she had while still married to her first husband, Robert, in her memoir. The crazy thing is that even though Kris wrote about the memoir, she feels like the tabloids are at fault for going crazy with paternity rumors. She also feels like Khloe is upset by it, even though Khloe could be the furthest from it. What it boils down to is Kris feeling extremely guilty about what she’s done in the past. However, her way of trying to correct the situation–by basically ambushing Khloe with a paternity test–is not the best idea.

Kris is also facing issues with her husband, Bruce Jenner. Bruce feels left out of the family, and decides to take Khloe up on her offer of him staying in her and Lamar’s Los Angeles home. The experiment to see if anyone will miss him backfires when no one calls to see where he is.

Finally, Kourtney thinks Kim doesn’t want to have anything to do with DASH anymore. Kourtney leaving Kim out of a lot of projects, including finding a new storefront, makes Kim annoyed with her sister.

I won’t spoil any endings, but I have to say that while the show is highly entertaining, this season exposes a lot of the made-up drama that is beginning to be too much. Kris put the details of her affair in the memoir–shouldn’t she expect the media to run rampant with it? It’s on her that people are talking about it again; she shouldn’t make Khloe want to do something she doesn’t want to do and she should respect Khloe’s decision. If Khloe’s fine with everything, Kris should put her own insecurities on the backburner.

How do all of these problems get resolved? Watch “Keeping up with the Kardashians” tomorrow at 9/8c on E!
