Fans of Prohibition-era crime dramas will get a kick out of “Lawless,” a film produced by The Weinstein Company and stars Tom Hardy, Shia LeBeouf and Guy Pearce. “Lawless” is directed by John Hillcoat and the screenplay is written by Nick Cave, based on the novel “The Wettest Country in the World” by Matt Bondurant. The film also stars Gary Oldman, Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska. This film has a great cast and has a winning storyline; I’m rather excited to see this film, especially since vintage costumes are involved. Hopefully, the film will be a success.
