The key art and two new trailers from HBO’s upcoming anticipated series ‘The Newsroom’ has been released. The drama series, which was created by ‘The Social Network’ and ‘Moneyball’ screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, will premiere on June 24 at 10pm.

‘The Newsroom’ gives a behind-the-scenes look into the people who make a nightly cable-news program. The show focuses on Will McAvoy, a network anchor, played by Jeff Daniels, and Mackenzie MacHale, his new executive producer, portrayed by Emily Mortimer. The series will also follow the newsroom staff, played by John Gallagher Jr., Alison Pill, Thomas Sadoski, Olivia Munn and Dev Patel, and their boss, Charlie Skinner, portrayed by Sam Waterston. ‘The Newsroom’ will track their mission to do the news well in the face of corporate and commercial obstacles, as well as their own entanglements.
