A new clip from Katy Perry’s film, “Part of Me: 3D” has been released as well as some pictures of her performance for the U.S. troops at Fleet Week in New York City, just in time for Memorial Day. Perry was decked out for the event in an outrageous flag dress with black platform heels.

“Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D” gives fans an inside look into the life of Perry, both on- and off-stage. Fans can see glimpses of the superstar they’ve never seen before, and come away from the film feeling closer to their idol than ever. Perry has stated how excited she is for her fans to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her life. “I want to take you behind the cotton candy clouds and reveal the highs and lows and nuts of bolts of this extraordinary ride. I promise you, after seeing this film, you will truly know me,” she said.

You can see the “Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D” during your Independence Day celebrations once it hits theaters July 5.
