A media tie-in book for the upcoming horror film ‘House at the End of the Street’ by Lily Blake is set to be released on August 21 from Little, Brown Books for Young Adults. Of the book’s release, the horror thriller’s director, Mark Tonderai, said “I am excited to have a Little, Brown tie-in book being published to accompany the release of ‘House at the End of the Street’ in theaters. I think it is fantastic that audiences will be able to connect with the thrilling story before seeing the film, or reliving it after they watch the movie.”

‘House at the End of the Street’ will be released into theaters on September 21 by Relativity Media. The movie was written by David Loucka, based on a story by Johnathan Mostow.

‘House at the End of the Street’ follows newly divorced mother Sarah, played by Oscar-nominee Elizabeth Shue, and her daughter Elissa, portrayed by ‘The Hunger Games’ star Jennifer Lawrence, as they move into a small, upscale, rural town. But when unexplainable events start to occur, Sarah and Elissa discover that the town has a secret.

Years before Sarah and Elissa moved into their new home, a daughter killed her parents in their beds in the house next door. The daughter subsequently disappeared, leaving only her mother, Ryan, played by Max Thieriot, as the sole survivor. Against Sarah’s wishes, Elissa starts a relationship with the reclusive Ryan, and the closer they get, the further they’re pulled into a dangerous mystery.
