For months, people have been speculating over “Alex Cross,” especially with Tyler Perry’s involvement in the film. Movie fans have been itching to see Perry in action, and finally, the first trailer for “Alex Cross” has arrived, ready for fans of the James Patterson character to dissect! You can check out the trailer (as well as a gallery) below the post.

“Alex Cross,” based on the Patterson novel “Cross,” stars Perry as the title character, a homicide detective/psychologist who must track down a serial killer (Matthew Fox):

“ALEX CROSS follows the young homicide detective/psychologist (Tyler Perry), from the worldwide best-selling novels by James Patterson, as he meets his match in a serial killer (Matthew Fox). The two face off in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, but when the mission gets personal, Cross is pushed to the edge of his moral and psychological limits in this taut and exciting action thriller.”

The film also stars Edward Burns, Rachel Nichols and Jean Reno. “Alex Cross” will be in theaters October 19.

To me, this film looks like one that Alex Cross fans will either love or hate, but what do you think about the film’s trailer? How do you feel about Perry’s performance? And the burning question–what do you think of that hairpiece? Give your opinions in the comments section below.
