It would seem that 20th Century Fox is going the Disney/Pixar route by having an animated short by having a short featuring “The Simpsons” characters play in front of “Ice Age: Continental Drift.”

Entertainment Weekly has the first look of the silent 3D short “The Longest Daycare.” “The Longest Daycare” stars The Simpsons’ baby Maggie, who becomes a part of the Ayn Rand School for Tots. However, a machine scans her and declares her future be “nothing special.”

“Ice Age: Continental Drift” stars Ray Romano, Denis Leary, John Leguizamo, Queen Latifah and Jennifer Lopez. “The Longest Daycare” will play in front of “Continental Drift” July 13. The film follows Manny (Romano), Sid (Leguizamo) and Diego (Leary) as they struggle to get back to their family after their continent has been gone adrift.
