A new theatrical poster for the upcoming comedy ‘General Education’ has been released by its distribution company, Pelican House Productions. The movie, which was directed by Tom Morris and co-written by Morris, Elliot Feld and Jaz Kalkat, hits select theaters in New York, Boston, Phoenix, Seattle, Columbus, Tucson and Chico on August 24.

‘General Education’ stars Chris Sheffield, Maiara Walsh, Janeane Garofolo, Larry Miller, Elaine Hendrix, Bobby Campo, Tom Maden, Seth Cassell, McKaley Miller and Mercedes Masohn. The comedy follows Sheffeld’s character, Levi Collins, as he’s set to attend the local University on a tennis scholarship. But he forgot to tell his parents that he didn’t graduate from high school. He must take senior science in summer school before his mom and dad discover he didn’t graduate. While at school, Levi falls in love with his classmate, Katie, played by Walsh, and learns that he has to choose between playing tennis and receiving a proper education.
