“Smash” star Katherine McPhee teams up with comedy veteran Rob Schneider (“The Hot Chick,” “The Wedding Singer”) in the zany comedy film, “You May Not Kiss the Bride.” The film also stars Dave Annabelle (“Brothers & Sisters,” “Little Black Book”), who plays Bryan Lighthouse, a mild mannered pet photographer who is forced to marry a Croation mobster’s daughter (McPhee) and retreat to a secluded Tahitian resort for a honeymoon that is full of comedic hijinks, a bridal kidnapping, and a little romance. According to cinemablend.com, Schneider brings his usual quirky comedy stylings as Ernesto, a daredevil helicopter pilot who works in Tahiti. The film also stars Ken Davitian (“The Artist,” “Get Smart”), Tia Carrere (“In Plain Sight,” “True Lies”), (Mena Suvari (“Psych,” “American Reunion”) and Hollywood heavy-hitter Kathy Bates (“Harry’s Law,” “The Blind Side”) as the mother of the groom.

Written and directed by Rob Hedden (“MacGuyver,” “The Condemned”), “You May Not Kiss the Bride” offers a lot to its viewers: an all star cast, a great mix of comedy, romance, and hilarious summer fun. “You May Not Kiss the Bride” will have its red carpet premiere in Honolulu, Hawaii – one of the film’s shooting locations – on Friday, August 31st.
