A new teaser trailer for ‘This Is 40’ from director Judd Apatow has debuted. While it’s lacking in the laugh department, which could be due to an absent Jason Segel, the movie doesn’t look half bad. Headlining the rated R family fest (that is an extension of ‘Knocked-Up’) is Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann as a married couple trying to fight through their irritatingly predictable days as they attempt to keep their crazy family together. The clip features the couple discussing how they would kill one another with a funny hotel scene featuring a star fish. Megan Fox makes a cameo with Chris O’Dowd, Lena Dunham, Melissa McCarthy and Albert Brooks also part of the cast. ‘This is 40’ will hit theaters on Christmas Day. Check out the trailer below with the official plot synopsis. Does the movie look funny or what? Let us know below.

“Writer/director/producer Judd Apatow (‘The 40-Year-Old Virgin,’ ‘Funny People’) brings audiences ‘This Is 40,’ an original comedy that expands upon the story of Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) from the blockbuster hit ‘Knocked Up’ as we see first-hand how they are dealing with their current state of life.”
