General Aladeen commands you to “Join Lindsay, Kim, and Kanye and post a picture of yourself on my wall of Sexual Conquests!” In anticipation of the release of “The Dictator” on DVD and Blu-Ray on August 21st, 2012, the General has created a new app in which users can add themselves and their friends to General Aladeen’s ever-growing collection of sex-partner Polaroids.
“The Dictator” was written by, produced by and stars Sacha Baron Cohen in the title role. Other screenplay and producing credits go to Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mandel and Scott Rudin also co-produced. The film is directed by Larry Charles and also stars Anna Faris and Ben Kingsley. The official synopsis of the film is “[t]he heroic story of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.”
