A new graphic novel version of Bluewater Productions’ ‘Mark Zuckerberg: Creator of Facebook’ comic book is set to be released in stores and in e-book form. The 48-page graphic novel will add a new cover, expanded story content, pin-ups and other illustrated extras from the original biography comic book, which sold out the day of its released.

The graphic novel, which features a cover drawn by notable comic book artist Joe Phillips, will retail for $10.99. It will be available in print through such retail outlets as Barnes & Noble and Amazon. The e-book will be sold on such online venues as Kindle, iTunes and Nook.

‘Mark Zuckerberg: Creator of Facebook’ follows the meteoric rise of the founder of the world-famous social networking Web site. Bluewater proclaims the novel’s story, which was written by freelance journalist Jerome Maida and illustrated by Sal Field, offers a more balanced portrait of Zuckerberg than his 2010 Academy Award-nominated biographical film, ‘The Social Network.’

Darren G. Davis, the president of Bluewater, said of the graphic novel “There was a lot of buzz regarding this particular title outside the traditional comic book buying demographic. Facebook fans and Zuckerberg detractors have sought this title out, so I am hoping we earned a ‘Like.'”
