When you manage to catch a notorious serial killer, it’s a pretty big bummer when the guy escapes from death row and so is the case with Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) and Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) in “The Following.” After murdering 14 students while teaching literature at a Virginia college, Hardy brings Carroll to justice. Nine years later, Carroll is on the run and in the midst of a new murder spree and Hardy, still physically and mentally crippled from their first bout, is called in to tap into his extensive understanding of Carroll to bring him to justice again.

Set to debut in January 2013, “The Following” still has time to build some hype, so continues its Comic Con tour with an appearance at NYCC where fans enjoyed a pilot screening and panel with the cast. Soon after that the stars hit the press room for some roundtable interviews and we got the opportunity to chat with Natalie Zea who plays Joe Carroll’s ex-wife, Claire, and executive producer and pilot director, Marcos Siega.

Check out the highlights from the interviews below and keep an eye out for “The Following” when it debuts on FOX in January.
