Today is the day for gore and blood, and if you just haven’t had your fill yet, ShockYa has something for you. Just in time for Halloween, Dark Sky Films has released the first photos from Adam Green’s “Hatchet 3.” The film is directed by BJ McDonnell. Check out the gallery of pictures below the post.
“Hatchet 3” will continue the saga of Crowley, the “Bayou Butcher,” the character who first came to notoriety in 2007’s game-changing “Hatchet.” “Hatchet 2” became the first unrated independent horror film to be exhibited by a major chain, AMC Theaters, in more than 25 years when it opened.
“Hatchet 3” was written and executive produced by series creator Adam Green, who also directed the first two “Hatchet” films. BJ McDonnell, veteran camera operator for “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter,” “Project X,” “Easy A” and “Hatchet 2,” makes his directing debut with “Hatchet 3.”
“Hatchet 2” stars Danielle Harris and Kane Hodder return for “Hatchet 3,” along with Derek Mears (“Friday the 13th” [2009]), Caroline Williams (“Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2”), Sean Whalen (“The People Under the Stairs”) and others.
