New high resolution pictures of Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx in ‘White House Down’ from director Roland Emmerich has been released in promotion of the action thriller’s March 2013 release date. Seen in the pics is Tatum ditching his talented dance moves for a more high-pressure position as a Secret Service agent protecting the President played by Foxx after the White House is taken over by a paramilitary group. Most of the stills feature both Tatem and Fox sharing the scene during intense moments while the others show off the supporting cast.
Surprisingly Tatum dons a suit most of the time with only one image showcasing his muscle power. Funnyman Foxx’s role as a serious and strong President is also a change of pace. ‘White House Down’ features a cast lineup of Maggie Gyllenhaal, James Woods, Richard Jenkins, Rachel LaFevre, Joey King, Lance Reddick, Jason Clark and Jake Weber.
