The world premiere teaser trailers from the upcoming video games ‘Gears of War: Judgment’ and ‘The Last of Us’ are set to first air on television during Spike TV’s ‘VGA Ten.’ The video game award show, which has been airing since 2003, will air live on Friday at 9pm ET/6pm PT. ‘VGA Ten’ will be hosted by Samuel L. Jackson, and will be simultaneously aired on both Spike TV and Spike’s official Web site.

‘Gears of War: Judgment’ is a third-person shooter game that’s being co-developed by Epic Games and People Can Fly. It’s the fourth title within the ‘Gears of War’ series. Microsoft Studios intends to publish the game on March 19, 2013.

‘The Last of Us,’ which is expected to be released next year, is a post-apocalyptic third-person survival action-adventure game that was developed by Naughty Dog for the PlayStation 3. It was officially revealed during last year’s Spike TV Video Game Awards.

Several artists will be performing at ‘VGA Ten,’ including Tenacious D, Linkin Park and Gustavo Santaolalla. The House DJ will be Wolfgang Gartner. Among the presenters for the ceremony include Zachary Levi, Neil Patrick Harris, Snoop Lion, Jessica Alba, Marlon Wayans, Adam Scott and Norman Reedus and Steven Yeun from ‘The Walking Dead.’

The VGAs paid tribute to the year’s best in gaming, and features exclusive world premieres of the most anticipated games. The award show has gained the reputation of being the place for the world’s top video publishers to premiere their titles.
