‘Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn’ is now officially available on Blu-ray, DVD and digital release, and is being distributed by Anderson Merchandisers and Anderson Digital. Besides being released on Blu-ray and DVD, the live-action video web series is also available online at Machinima Prime and Halo Waypoint.

The Blu-ray and DVD, which are being sold for $28.99 and $22.99, respectively, allow fans to enjoy the entire film uninterrupted. The Blu-Ray and DVD also offer such exclusive behind-the-scenes featurettes as storyline vignettes, audio commentary by director Stewart Hendler, concept art, visual effects models, Easter eggs and more.

The digital series, which is comprised of five episodes, is based on the bestselling Xbox franchise. Through a story of heroism and sacrifice, ‘Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn’ takes fans back to the beginning of the human and Covenant war, and leads them into the events of ‘Halo 4.’

Set against the backdrop of a United Nations Space Command (UNSC) military academy, ‘Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn’ a group of cadets are training to be the next generation of leaders in the ongoing war with insurrectionists in the outer colonial planets. Among these cadets, Thomas Lasky struggles with his doubts about the war and with the burden of expectations he may not be able to carry.

As Lasky comes to terms with his potential as a military leader, the terrifying alien alliance known as the Covenant arrives and threatens to destroy everything he knows. When he’s rescued by the Master Chief, he must decide what it means to be a hero.
