Magic Stone Productions and Brainstorm Media have announced that Michael Paul Stephenson’s documentary, “The American Scream,” is now available on Blu-ray and DVD exclusively at theamericanscreammovie.com. “The American Scream” is the latest documentary the director’s follow-up to his critically acclaimed featured documentary, “Best Worst Movie.”

“The American Scream” had its world premiere at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas in September 2012 and it ended up winning the award for Best Picture in the Documentary Features category and received tremendous reviews. The film went on to delight television audiences when it premiered on NBCUniversal’s Chiller network on October 28, 2012, with Entertainment Weekly calling it a “must watch”.

Magic Stone is releasing this documentary as a Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack in time for the holidays. The Blu-ray/DVD is priced at $17.99 and will be available for purchase exclusively at theamericanscreammovie.com and includes a follow-up featurette. The American Scream on DVD will not be available at retailers until Fall 2013.
