If you’re a “Star Trek” fan, you might want to stay up late tonight because something big is coming! News has been released that a brand new “Star Trek Into Darkness” international trailer will be released at 12:01 am PST exclusively on Apple. Of course, there’s no word on whether there’s going to be some new footage, but we’ll all be able to see together once the trailer is released. There are also two new pictures; look in the gallery below to see the new additions.

“Star Trek Into Darkness” is directed by J.J. Abrams and stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Alice Eve, John Cho and Bruce Greenwood. The film will show Captain Kirk (Pine) at possibly his most vulnerable, since he’ll be going through some trials and tribulations:

“In the wake of a shocking act of terror from within their own organization, the crew of The Enterprise is called back home to Earth. In defiance of regulations and with a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads his crew on a manhunt to capture an unstoppable force of destruction and bring those responsible to justice.

As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.”

“Star Trek Into Darkness” will be in select theaters and IMAX 3D May 15 and nationwide May 17.
