New images from Henry-Alex Rubin’s “Disconnect” have been released. From what I’ve seen, the film looks like it’s going to be one really cool, really sexy, and really intriguing film. You can take a look at the images below the post.

“Disconnect” is written by Andrew Stern and stars Frank Grillo, Marc Jacobs (yes, the fashion designer), Jason Bateman, Hope Davis, Michael Nyqvist, Paula Patton, Andrea Riseborough, Alexander Skarsgard and Max Thieriot. The film tells the story of several strangers who become a part of a bigger collective story about the struggle to maintain a physical presence in the digital age:

A hard-working lawyer, attached to his cell phone, can’t find the time to communicate with his family. A couple is drawn into a dangerous situation when their secrets are exposed online. A widowed ex-cop struggles to raise a mischievous son who cyber-bullies a classmate. An ambitious journalist sees a career-making story in a teen that performs on an adult-only site. They are strangers, neighbors and colleagues and their stories collide in this riveting dramatic thriller about ordinary people struggling to connect in today’s wired world.

“Disconnect” will be in select theaters April 12. What do you think about the film? Write about it in the comments section below!
