Lionsgate has released the official San Diego Comic-Con 2013 press line and fan signing photos for ‘I, Frankenstein.’ The event was held yesterday afternoon at the Lionsgate Comic-Con Panel in Hall H at the Hilton Bay Front. It featured the horror thriller’s stars, Aaron Eckhart, Yvonne Strahovski and Kevin Grevioux, who co-wrote the film with director Stuart Beattie. The four also attended fan signings on Friday for the film, which will be released in theaters on January 24, 2014, at the Lionsgate booth.
Lionsgate has released the following synopsis for ‘I, Frankenstein’:
Set in a dystopic present where vigilant gargoyles and ferocious demons rage in a battle for ultimate power, Victor Frankenstein’s creation Adam (Eckhart) finds himself caught in the middle as both sides race to discover the secret to his immortality. From the co-writer of the hit supernatural saga, ‘Underworld,’ comes the action thriller ‘I, Frankenstein,’ written for the screen and directed by Stuart Beattie, screen story by Kevin Grevioux and Stuart Beattie, based on the Darkstorm Studios graphic novel ‘I, Frankenstein’ created by Kevin Grevioux, and brought to life by a cast that includes Eckhart, Bill Nighy, Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Socratis Otto, Jai Courtney, Grevioux, Mahesh Jadu, Caitlin Stasey and Aden Young as Victor Frankenstein.
