‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’ is making history again with an updated website. The comedy’s title character, Ron Burgundy, has released a statement on the website, saying “There’s an updated ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’ site. No idea what that means. Better do what I do when confused: eat pork chops & have a drink.”
The anticipated sequel to 2004’s hit ‘Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy’ was helmed by Adam McKay, who co-wrote the script with the film’s star, Will Ferrell. The movie is set to be released in theaters on December 20.
Paramount Pictures, the studio distributing ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,’ has released the following synopsis for the film:
With the 70’s behind him, San Diego’s top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk in ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.’ Also back for more are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner)-All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy…while taking New York’s first 24-hour news channel by storm.
