Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and director Francis Lawrence give fans a sneak peek into the world of Panem in this new “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” featurette. The featurette also shows you want you can expect from the film’s IMAX format (possibly the best way to view a film like this). Take a look for yourself below the post!

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” follows Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark (Lawrence and Hutcherson, respectively) as they go back into the deadly gauntlet that is The Hunger Games. This time around, they have to defeat past winners in the Quarter Quell if they plan on escaping unscathed. Here’s more on the film:

“THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE will be directed by Francis Lawrence, and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the second in a trilogy that has over 50 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.”

Lionsgate will release “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” on Nov. 22. You can also buy tickets for the film now at Fandango and MovieTickets. Starting 8pm Nov. 21, you’ll be able to purchase tickets for a special double screening of the franchise so far. Also, everyone who buys their tickets early will receive a free download of Phantogram’s “Lights,” from the upcoming film soundtrack.
