Jazz TeeVee will give you the latest in the jazz world on FilmOn. The channel will give viewers all the cool news from the jazz scene, including performances, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage from vintage and current bands. Art Blakey, Al DiMeola, the Yellowjackets, Robben Ford and more–all can be seen on Jazz TeeVee.

Coming up on Jazz TeeVee is the Joe Lovano Nonet Paris Concert. At 3:03 pm ET, you’ll be able to see tenor saxophone legend Joe Lovano perform with technical aplomb. Here’s more about the concert:

“Tenor saxophone great Joe Lovano plays with a balance of imaginative abandon and technical control that has not been heard since John Coltrane, says Downbeat magazine. Touring with his nine-piece ensemble, Lovano has found the perfect vehicle in this “little-big band” format, striking a balance between the powerful sound of a large ensemble and the intimacy of the solo-oriented small combo. Each and every one of his Nonet performances – such as this 2001 show featuring the late John Hicks – has been an unforgettable experience for his countless fans. This DVD also features an interview segment entitled ‘In Conversation with Joe Lovano Nonet.'”
