It’s now only a matter of time! “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” started production today in South Africa. In a little more than a year, we’ll all be in a nice theater watching “The Avengers” sequel in May 2015. Production on the film will take place for two weeks in South Africa. Apparently, the first 10 minutes of the sequel will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa. Will Black Panther be there? From Gauteng Film Commission’s Desmond Mthembu (via Bleeding Cool):

“The great thing about this movie is that they are shooting Johannesburg as Johannesburg. Often you will find filmmakers will shoot in Johannesburg and portray the location as Los Angeles. This time around the first 10 minutes of the film will be of Johannesburg.”

At the moment, the new Marvel movie will feature Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Cobie Smulders, Samuel L. Jackson, James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Thomas Kretschmann, and Paul Bettany as J.A.R.V.I.S. and Vision.

“The Avengers: Age of Ultron” will hit theaters everywhere on May 1, 2015, in 3D.
