“Divergent” is just the beginning of a brand new book-turned-movie franchise and if you saw it in the theaters, get ready to own it on Blu-ray Combo Pack (plus DVD and Digital HD), DVD (plus Digital), Video on Demand and Pay-Per-View Aug. 5. If you can’t wait until then, don’t fret; the film is already available on Digital HD.

There’s going to be tons of special features on the home releases of the film, based on Veronica Roth’s number one New York Times best-selling book series. The special features (which are still subject to change) are as follows:

The home release is priced at $39.99 (Blu-ray) and $29.95 (DVD). Also, just to get you prepared, the next installments of the franchise, “Insurgent” and parts one and two of “Allegiant” will be released in theaters March 20, 2015,March 18, 2016 and March 24, 2017, respectively.

The film stars Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Ashley Judd, Jai Courtney, Ray Stevenson, Zo? Kravitz, Miles Teller, Tony Goldwyn, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q, Mekhi Phifer and Kate Winslet. The film is directed by Neil Burger from a screenplay by Evan Daugherty and Vanessa Taylor.

“‘Divergent’ is a thrilling action adventure set in a future world where society has been divided into five distinct factions. But Tris will never fit into any one group-she is Divergent, and what makes her different makes her dangerous.
