Lupita Nyong’o continues to reign over Hollywood! It was announced last week that she won the movie rights to Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s novel “Americanah” and now outlets are reporting that Nyong’o is the next star added to the new “Star Wars” film, “Star Wars: Episode VII”!

According to CNN, Nyong’o, along with “Game of Thrones” actress Gwendoline Christie, will be some of the big names in the new film set in George Lucas’ universe. “I could not be more excited about Lupita and Gwendoline joining the cast of Episode VII,” said Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy in a statement. “It’s thrilling to see this extraordinarily talented ensemble taking shape.”

Indeed, the cast is literally amazing. The cast includes John Boyega, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Andy Serkis, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow, as well as “Star Wars” veterans Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford.

Right now, it’s unknown as to what roles Nyong’o and Christie will have, but Entertainment Weekly has given their ideas, which include Asajj Ventress or Tenal Ka for Nyong’o and Tamith Kai or Augwynne Djo for Christie.
