Is there anyone out there who plays the celebrity death pool game? Hopefully you don’t–that’s a rough way to make a buck. But judging aside, the celebrity death pool is an age-old game that’s now going to become a funny movie. Well, that’s the intent–it’s the brain child of Ken Jeong.

Jeong’s latest project, currently called “Untiled Celebrity Death Pool,” will star Jeong as a rotten nightclub owner who wants to make some quick cash to pay back a loan shark. Instead of thinking of other ways to make money, Jeong’s character turns to the obviously natural way to make a buck–bet big on Davd Hasselhoff as the next celeb to croak and go on a cross-country trip to kill him.

The craziest part is that Hasselhoff is happy to be a part of the film. Yes, he has joined the cast as himself (hopefully the version of himself he was in the first “SpongeBob SquarePants” movie). Hulk Hogan has also signed on, and more celebs are in talks to join, according to Variety.

The film could be so crazy it works. It feels like it’s got “Sharknado” potential; it could become such a cult classic that the careers of several B- and C-listers will be revived. Who knows.
