In the days after comedienne Joan Rivers’ death, people have wondered if her E! show, “Fashion Police,” would be cancelled. Conventional wisdom would suggest that the show wouldn’t be the same without that Rivers wit and charm. It was her humor that made the show a hit, after all.

However, when E! announced that “Fashion Police” would remain a part of the line-up, people began discussing who could take up the reins. The Hollywood Reporter states that E! might be getting close to a replacement.

According to the site, E! has created a shortlist of comedians–male and female. This list includes Kathy Griffin, who has been listed as being in serious contention for the spot.

The big question, though, is if the audience will return in droves for this new iteration of “Fashion Police.” Certainly, people will turn out for the Godlen Globes episode, which will air Jan. 12, 2015. But when people think of “Fashion Police,” they think of Rivers and it’s hard to separate the two. We’ll see, won’t we?

Will you watch “Fashion Police” with a new host? Do you think Griffin would do a good job as host, or do you have someone else in mind? Give your opinions and host suggestions in the comments section below!
