SpongeBob SquarePants is back to save the day from evil once again, but this time, he’s not just saving Bikini Bottom–he and his underwater buddies have to save those of us above water as well!
“The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water” will be in theaters Feb. 6, 2015 and Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon have released a new trailer for the film. The trailer features SpongeBob (Tom Kenny), Mr. Krabs (Clancy Brown), Patrick (Bill Fagerbakke), Squidward (Rodger Bumpass) and Sandy (Carolyn Lawrence) fighting against the hilariously evil Burger-Beard. As you can see in the trailer, the usually-2D-animated characters are in startling 3D, especially when they turn into their human-sized superhero counterparts. The technology used to bring SpongeBob and his friends to life above water certainly is a reason to go see this in the theaters.
