“Game of Thrones” has fans all around the world and the fandom is so great and powerful that it’s propelled the show to make history as the first show to premiere in IMAX theaters.

The Hollywood Reporter states that the last two episodes of Season Four of “Game of Thrones” will air in IMAX theaters starting Jan. 23 through Jan. 29, with the chaser being a teaser for Season Five. This event will be the fist time a TV series has made it to IMAX and, if you listen to fans go on about the series, it’s probably about time it got the big screen treatment. The show is filmed in a very cinematic format in an effort to transport viewers to this distant and mystical world of dragons, kingdoms and fantastical beings.

I can feel the fans losing their minds right as they read this post and I’m sure the fans will want to know what they have to do and where they have to go to get their tickets so they can sit in the theater and watch the fantastical carnage. To get your tickets, check out the IMAX website now to learn more about pricing and availability.
