“Community,” the Little Show that Could, is finally back! Fans were outraged when NBC cancelled the oft-on-the-bubble show before it had the chance to fulfill its self-made destiny of “six seasons and a movie,” but now it’s sixth season is finally airing on Yahoo. Look for the new season on Yahoo Screen this March.

March 17 is the official date of the return of your favorite community college characters. Two episodes will be released that day, which will get fans pumped for the rest of the 13-episode season. The show won’t be the same as it was on NBC for two reasons. First, two new characters played by Keith David and Paget Brewster will make their debut. Second, one of the characters won’t be back. Yvette Nicole Brown, who played Shirley on the show, decided not to come back to the show in order to take care of her father.

Yahoo is completely behind the show, and Yahoo’s Kathy Savitt told The Hollywood Reporter that she is also a “Community” fan and that she was “really impressed and inspired” by the fandom’s support of the show.
