The rock band Weezer made 1950s singer Buddy Holly popular again in their song, also titled “Buddy Holly.” But if you’re an OG fan of Buddy Holly, Hologram USA is bringing the singer back to life via their hologram technology.

The company, owned by FilmOn CEO and founder Alki David, has announced a full-length show featuring the music and hologram of Holly. The show is created in partnership with the head of Buddy Holly Licensing, LLC (and Holly’s wife) Maria Elena Holly. The show will debut 2016 in Holly’s home state of Texas, with the intention of touring around the globe. If you’re a faithful FilmOn viewer, you’ll able to see the show thanks to FilmOn’s exclusive television rights.

“I’m a big Buddy Holly fan so much so that I still can’t believe that we are in the Buddy Holly business,” said David. “This is a great time for Hologram USA to help bring back this incredible icon.”

This show comes on the heels of Hologram USA announcing a Liberace show coming to Las Vegas. The show will bring the famed pianist and entertainer back to fans in a never-before-seen event featuring a lifelike Liberace hologram.
