Satire is taking modern form in “The Revolution Will be Televised.” The television show, which airs on BBC Three and on FilmOn’s BBC Three channel, features sketches and stunts led by Joylon Rubenstein and Heydon Prowse, who play characters such as James and Barnaby, Dale Maily, Ewan Jeffries, Raffa and Ralph and Zam Zmith. Here’s more about the show:

“Satirical series featuring bite-sized comedy hits, from fictionalised characters to stunt-led sketches, which brings the corruption, greed and hypocrisy of politicians, multi-nationals and tax-shy billionaires who have been taking the British public for a ride for years to the fore. Dale Maily enjoys a day out at an EDL march in Birmingham; James and Barnaby attempt to convince the public that MPs should have a pay rise; and James has a surprise for old friend David Cameron. BBC executives get a helping hand, Google and Nike get a rebrand and Network Rail feel the frustrations of being delayed.”

The show, which airs Jan. 16, is one of the many programs you can see on FilmOn’s slate of UK live TV broadcasts. Some of the channels include BBC One, BBC Two, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and more FilmOn also has more than just web TV; FilmOn also has streaming movies, coverage of exclusive events, original programming and more.
