Journey with the ‘Girl in Woods’ to help her battle nature and her own demons, in an effort to protect her survival and sanity, as the horror film is distributed on home release. The thriller will be distributed by Candy Factory Films on June 3 on Cable and Digital HD. The film will be available to rent or own through such outlets as Comcast, DirecTV, iTunes, Dish, Amazon Instant, Google Play and Vudu.

‘Girl in Woods’ marks the latest release from writer-director-producer Jeremy Benson, who previously penned, helmed and produced the 2005 horror movie, ‘Shutter,’ and the 2008 genre film, ‘Live Animals.’ His new horror thriller stars Juliet Reeves, Charisma Carpenter, Jeremy London, Lee Perkins, John Still and introduces Shaun Elizabeth as “Little Grace.”

Candy Factory Films has released the following synopsis for ‘Girl in Woods’:

The death of her fiancé, Jim (London), leaves Grace (Reeves) abandoned in a harsh mountain wilderness. Struggling against the elements and fighting off starvation, the fragile shell of her sanity begins to crack. Her situation worsens when she notices a dark figure stalking her every step. Through memories of her mother (Carpenter) and father (Perkins), Grace finds a long-forgotten truth about herself. It is this secret, long hidden away, that will either lead her to safety or down a path of horror beyond anything she could comprehend.
